Hyundai, the South Korean automaker has re-arranged the variants of its Verna. The new CX trim is added with both petrol and diesel engine option. Hyundai has launched this new CX trim at a price of Rs.8.07 lakhs The company has also discontinued some variants. It has stopped the Verna 1.4 petrol EX and 1.4 diesel EX variants. It has also discontinued the 1.6 petrol EX AT, 1.6 diesel EX AT and also 1.6 petrol SX (O). Now the AT version is available on the mid level variant, SX- 1.6 petrol SX AT and also 1.6 diesel SX AT.
The newly added CX trim is available with 1.4 litre petrol and diesel power train with manual transmission only. It features a driver side airbag, diamond cut alloy wheels, steering mounted audio controls, rear parking sensors with camera, turn indicators, electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors and also Anti-lock Braking System (ABS). It also include the features like automatic climate control and two DIN audio system with Bluetooth compatibility.
The Verna 1.6 EX gets all the features of 1.4 CX except the alloy wheels and electrically adjustable and foldable wing mirrors. The 1.6 SX gets all the features of CX and also include dual airbags, 16 inch alloy wheels and chilled glove box. The top end trim SX (O) offers push button start, side and curtain airbags, projector head lights and also automatic headlight control.
