Tata Motors, the largest Indian automobile manufacturer plans to unveil a hatchback and a new compact saloon at the 2014 Auto Expo. It is expected that the new hatchback replace the current Vista and the compact saloon may replace the Manza. Both the cars will be unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo in the month of February
The new hatchback and compact saloon are codenamed as Falcon 4 and Falcon 5 respectively. Falcon 4 will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. It will get .2-litre turbo-petrol engine which is derived from the current Xeta engine and 1.3-litre Fiat Multijet diesel engine.
Falcon 5 is based on its existing X1 platform also available with two engine options. It will get the same 1.3 litre Fiat Multijet diesel engine. The Falcon 4 will be launched after the launch of Falcon 5. It is expected that both the cars to be launched at the end of next year. It will compete with the cars like Honda Amaze and Swift Dzire
