Honda to launch CBR250R facelift in this month

HMSI is ready to launch the face-lifted version of the popular CBR250R sports bike by the end of this month. The 2012 CBR250R will be Rs.1500 more than its predecessor and will be available in a new colour combination.

Mr. Naresh Rattan, Vice-president, Sales and Marketing, HMSI informed that the company was due to launch the CBR250R shortly in the market. He said that the new bike has gone under production by the middle of this month.

He added that there is no dearth of demand for premium priced bikes in India despite a broader slowdown in demand for the commuter bikes witnessed by a few players.

Rattan also said that there have been issues relating to components shortage due to the recent floods in Thailand which has impacted local production. This matter is being sorted out before they launch the new version.

It is expected that the face-lifted CBR250R will also toughly compete with the recently launched Pulsar 200NS and Duke 200.
