Datsun plans to launch GO in the country by mid of this month. The Datsun Go hatchback is based on Nissan\u2019s Micra V platform. It will be available with three variants. It is expected to be priced in the range between Rs.3.5 lakh to Rs.3.8 lakh. We can expect the starting price of GO at Rs.3 lakhs.<\/p>\n

The Datsun GO measures 3785 mm in length, 1635 mm in width and 1485 mm in height. The wheelbase of the car is 2450 mm while the ground clearance is 170 mm. The fuel tank capacity of the car is 35 litres.\u00a0It will be powered by the same 1.2 litre, 3 cylinder petrol engine from the Nissan Micra. It can produce 68 PS of maximum power and 104 Nm of maximum torque. The engine is coupled to 5 speed manual gearbox. The engine can return an overall mileage of 20.6 kmpl.<\/p>\n

This hatchback will include the Mcpherson struts suspension at the front and torsion beam at the rear. The front of the Go will get the ventilated disc brake while the rear will include drum brake.\u00a0Datsun has fixed the booking amount as Rs.11, 000 and the amount will be refunded to the buyers if the launch price is not satisfied. The product delivery will begin by the end of this month.<\/p>\n
