The platform of this compact SUV is completely new. It offers both the options of 5 seater and 7 seater. It has undergone testing and it was spotted at many places in South Korea<\/p>\n<p>The new compact SUV gets both diesel and petrol engine options. It is expected that it will be get the same 1.5-litre CRDi engine which is already employed in the Verna and Elantra or a new 1.5-litre diesel engine which is developed by Hyundai as per emission norms. Hyundai plans to built engine making plant at Sriperumbudur, Chennai. The plant has the ability to deliver both petrol and diesel.
