Tata Motors brought the Aria into the Indian market announcing the arrival of Crossovers that possess the qualities of both an SUV and an MUV. Keeping in mind the road conditions in India, the automaker designed this vehicle to give the customer the feel of luxury and performance without compromising on space. The Tata Aria is available in both the four-wheel-drive and two-wheel drive train variants. When launched the other classifications that further distinguished the variants were Pure, Pleasure, Prestige and Pride. The 4x4 variant came in three variants, Pleasure being the base model, Prestige being the mid-range model and Pride being the top-end model. The 4x4 Prestige is however discontinued. For the 4x2 variant Prestige was the top-end model which has been discontinued now. So now Pleasure is the top-jend and Pure the base model for the variant.
