As Mr.Venu Srinivasan, Chairman of TVS Motors rightly acknowldged the teenagers especially girls who wants to graduate from scooty have to look for other brands. The product portfolio is not complete and it lacks a family scooter on the likes of Honda Activa or Suzuki Access. TVS wants to cater this segment with the launch of Wego. Can TVS grab a share in Honda’s strong belt? pass through the slideshow to know the answer

I read abt & saw the white TVS WEGO on Sunday 15thJan at the Ramkay Adyar, the info displayed then. Then on Fri 21st went to this dealer, stepped in he large grd flr ofc, was 1st gratefully welcomed by Priya.
Then on the Wego, Vasudevan & then Moses spent 3 hours giving me details I wanted, listened to the background & standards of excellence & history of this potential customer (bec I didnt want a repeat of being cheated of 2li+ petrol from my then new Bajaj Classic at the auth dealer & their rude staff in 1989).
Then having spent 4 good yrs with the v comfortable balanced, but heavywht Kinetic Blaz. But now aged 64+ finding it hard to handle its 136kg wht, & really wanting a much lighter 4S scooter.
So B4 a test drive on the Wego, 1st saw the golden-beige units in Ramkay’s 2nd flr, the clean service centre on the 1st floor – all 3 flrs airy, & well lit,- & being assured delivery on 25th Jan, paid in full finalised deal on 22nd Jan..
On 25th Jan took possession & am enjoying this Wego with its beautiful golden color, easy to handle, no struggling with whts, & very helpful & curteous RK’s staff incl Priya, Revathi, Kartik, Moses & Vasudevan, the guards, & others.
Such a great blessing to see mechanics dressed so cleanly, no greasey & oily floors & walls, no rude guards or staff. As a writer & perfectionist, will B able to give a fair & specific writeup after some months of using gthe Wego.
What I really want is detailed hardcopies in color) of the 3 detailed writeups in OVERDRIVE, BIKE, & MOTORING mags wherein the WEGO was ranked “Scooter of the Year 2011″. Can this pls be mailed to my home M-105/5, 29th Cross St., Besant Nagar, Chennai 600090 ? Thank you..
Since these analytical writeups R in past issues, which R not avialable in bookshops.
