TVS launches its Clutchless bike – TVS Jive

TVS Motors has today launched its much awaited clutchless bike Jive in the Indian market. Powered by an 110cc engine, Jive develops 8.4bhp of maximum power at 7500rpm and a maximum torque of 8.3Nm. Jive comes with T-Matic technology. Jive comes with 4-speed transmission but features an handsfree gearshift. Jive comes with Tmatic technology (TVS term for automatic clutch). With a wheelbase of 1260mm, TVS Jive uses drum brake at the front and the rear. Jive has fuel tank capacity of 15litres and 2 litre as reserve. TVS Jive comes with gear Indicator and underseat space (bottle,umbrella and document).
TVS Jive is priced at Rs. 41, 000 (Exshowroom Chennai)

TVS has put its efforts on the functionality part rather than the aesthetics of the bike, it looks more like a TVS Star City.
It takes guts and commitment, to launch a bike like the JIVE. It shows TVS really cares for the new first time buyer and wants to ease his entry into the big bad world of two wheelers by making it as painless as possible.
Thank you ! TVS… this bike really shows that you care to lighten the burden of the regular commuter. Now we can only hope that the would be customers come forward in large numbers and take full advantage of your new bike.

Your bike is amazing but it should have front disc,digital speedometer so that it can beat bajaj’s xcd 125cc.
this new bike will create a big revolution in the future era of automobiles….. bt still tvs needs 2 concentrate on style….. jive resembles like the old vehicles of its own…

i am an advocate in krishnagiri, presently i was using herohonda street, ’cause iam left hand handicap ,due to lorry accident at age of 5. street made to surf faster than bicycle, which is 1997 model , i think this jive will make me and wife proud on signals ,road and in between friends . who comments us on moped model as kadalpura & old bike . thanks for tvs in making this 2010 faster one and giving new member to family

I bought TVS Jive. I think now it is available in all the showrooms in Tamilnadu. This is an excellent Bike. All the things are good.
we are the student of psg tech we have done the project in automatic transmission in two wheeler last year actually we use extremnal mechanism in it but in jive internal mechanism is used i request anybody to send me exact detail about that mechanism if you we can develop knowledge

jive bike is very good bike.
JIVE IS PERFECT BIKE I LIKE ITS TECHNOLOGY, TVS GIVES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR HANDICAPS. STYLE AND LOOKS ARE GOOD, BIKE IS VERY COMFORTABLE. I BOUGHT JIVE ITS MILEAGE IS 80-90KMPL LOCAL IN MARKET IT WOULD BE MORE ON HIGHWAY.
Iam not a bike savvy person,infact i did ride one till now .
this would a great opportunity to finally ride a bike and at the same time enjoy life without gears.

hi………… I want to buy tvs jive at tirupati.so piease inform me exact price with taxes and bike performance information.
It is very nice thing to have automated controls.
But I would like to know more about how clutch is controlled, in other words, when shifting the gear how engine is detached or separated from the load(rear Wheel).
More over how it is achieved 80 to 90 Kmpl?
What is the advantage of Circular gear shifting mechanism?
I want to ask one thing in case if I start initially before movement of vehicle from neutral to 4th gear directly and accelerate, what will happened? whether bike moves or not?
