I recently purchased a Toyota Corolla ( not the Altis ). I was trying hard to get the dash Board trims for the Executive model , which would give a classy touch for the car. I converted my car to the looks of the Limited edition , by adding the side , front and rear skirting and the fog lamps. I badly need to get the trims wooden finish dash trims. Pl help to get these for me. I cant wait any longer. I had been searching literally every site to procure the set of trims. Expecting a positive reply soon.

Guys, the pics in your article are NOT of the New Corolla, its just the plain old spruced up model. The new pictures are widely available on the net and it’s surprising no one noticed it. The interesting point however, is that the Toyota corolla is not a car everyone fancies but one that is good on all counts and sells, so i guess its natural for people not to notice the difference between the new and old one, ppl jus don’t care mucha about it.

Toyota’s new corolla in india next year:

Toyota’s new Corolla, which will be launched in Thailand this December is now expected to be launched in India late next year. The current Corolla model, launched in 2002, is now ready for a complete makeover. Media reports say one of the reasons for phasing out the current model of Corolla is that it was nearing the end of its lifecycle, even though there hasn’t been a major drop in sales. Between January and June this year, it sold about 3,500 units compared to 4,000 units during the same period last year. In comparison, Honda Civic sold over 9,000 units during the first six months of the current calendar year. It is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 12 lakh.

Audi's A3 sedan to take on Toyota corolla:

German luxury car maker Audi is gearing up to flood the Indian market with its global line up of cars. Audi India will debut into the volume segment through its A3 compact sedan. Audi's A3 sedan would be in India in the next two months for a 6-month testing period. It is expected to be launched early next year. The price of the car would be between Rs. 10 and Rs. 15 lakh, taking on the likes of the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla which accounts for the lion’s share of the segment. By the time the A3 is finally ready to be launched in India, Audi’s assembly facility at the Skoda plant in Aurangabad would be fully operational. And this is what will enable Audi to keep the price competitive. The new plant will enable Audi to bring in the A3 as a completely knocked down unit and assemble it in Aurangabad, along with the A6 and A4. Audi's A3, A5 and R8 will all drive in over the next 8 to 10 months. While the A5 is a premium luxury coupe, the R8 is Audi’s flagship sports car.
