Toyota delivery delays on Corolla altis, Innova and Fortuner

Exceeding customer demand for Toyota products has become a huge headache for Toyota. Toyota which recently re-opened the bookings for Fortuner has again has closed the bookings again. Toyota has backlog of 5000 fortuner’s.  The added problem is Toyota Innova and Toyota corolla altis has now 2 months of waiting period. “We are facing limitations at our first Bangalore plant and are looking at maximising our production capacity. There are no plans to further hike the capacity,” Nakagawa said to a newspaper. Customers may end up paying a premium price for Toyota products.

Remember, Toyota will launch the Etios on December 01.  Etios will be produced in the second plant in Bangalore.
