Mahindra Bolero VLX

Mahindra today launched advanced variant of its flagship product Bolero. The new Bolero VLX is powered by the same 2.49 Common Rail Diesel Engine (CRDe) but churns out an impressive power output of 97bhp at 3200rpm (42% more than the current engine). The max torque is also upped to 255Nm which avaialble in the range of 1800-2200rpm. “The modern 2.49L Common Rail Diesel Engine (CRDe) belts out an awesome 97 HP and ensures superior pick up with smooth drive,” Mahindra and Mahindra Vice-President (Sales) Bhartendu Kapoor told. The new model offered a quantum leap in power and performance due to an electronic computer controlled engine management system, he said.”It also offers a superior driving experience and an advanced level of refinement with reduced NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) level. This rugged, yet stylish SUV has enough power to whip up a storm and is ideal for the young, urban customers,” he said. Mahindra Bolero VLX is priced Rs 6.90 lakh (ex-showroom Jaipur)
