Honda to disinvest from Hero Honda?

Doomsayers predicted it right! Honda may finally decided to disinvest its stake from Hero Honda. Honda which currently holds 26%  stake in Hero Honda is already the third largest two wheeler maker in India. Honda currently sells activa, shine, aviator, CBF stunner, CB Twister, CB uncorn, Unicorn dazzler and superbikes likes CBR 1000RR and CB 1000R.  Honda may sell 6% stake to private equity players. Though the partners have agreed to extend the technical agreement till 2014. The uncertainty over the joint venture between Hero group and Honda has been brewing ever since it launched competitive products like CB Twister.  We have to see how it affects the  product plans of Hero Honda is to be seen.
