To match up the two wheeler biggies – Hero Honda, Bajaj Auto and Yamaha, japanese major Honda Motorcycles plans a series of launches in next two years. Honda is out of action when other manufacturers plans to storm the market. Hero Honda will soon launch the karizma FI ZMR, Bajaj Auto plans Ninja and three new motorcycles, Yamaha plans Fazer 250cc and TVS plans a scooter and a motorcycle. To counter these threats, Honda would launch a new 110cc motorcycle (which Honda has been making noise as its mass market motorcycle), spruced-up shine, refreshed stunner, new Unicorn and a 250cc motorcycle.
Honda’s new 110cc motorcycle is the japanese major’s first step to break the monopoly of Hero Honda in the 100cc segment. The new 110cc motorcycle would be projected as a sporty commuter bike in contrast commuter-ish splendor and passion of Hero Honda. Honda would display this motorcycle at the 2010 Auto Expo. Following would be the new refreshed motorcycles – new shine, new stunner and new unicorn. Shine and unicorn are already due for a facelift. Honda would also launch a refreshed stunner in 2010. By 2011, Honda would unleash its beast – a 250cc motorcycle. We recently told you about the Indian two wheeler manufacturer growing interest on 250cc motorcycle. But unlike the Bajaj, Honda plans to manufacture the 250cc motorcycle in India which would enable the japanese major to price it competitvely.

this new has been in the market for long time but this time bike would come definitely
Lets see how much time Honda to do these launches.
good one. I don’t think Honda wants to rely anymore on Hero in India. They want to go it alone.
This news is good but personally feel that even though honda make good products but takes too long time and in that gap time others like bajaj, tvs, yamaha get the benefits. And Honda doesn’t take indian market seroius if you see the products in overseas markets.
I would highly apperciate yamaha in this concern they are understanding indian market better then honda and suzuki.
I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW UNICORN.THE PREMIUM BIKE FROM HONDA,
DOES ANY ONE KNOW ABOUT THE LAUNCH OF THE NEW UNICORN
WHAT ALL WILL BE THE NEW ADDITIONS IN THE NEXT MODEL
PLZ REPLY ANY ONE I AM GOING TO BUY ONE NEXT MONTH
IS IT WORTH WAITING!!!!!!!!!
If Honda manufactures its 250cc bike in India , it would elevate the Indian bike manufacturing Arena to a whole new level.
ANOTHER ONE OF VICKY’S TALL TALES
BAKWAS
fake news ….
dikhaway par mat jao ..apni akal ladao…
i am having sub dealer ship of honda ..but i have no such info …all fake..
This is not a fake news.Honda wants to make their own mass volume product in India. But it is going to take atleast six months from now.So let us wait and watch.
2011…why not 2014 that would be exactly 10yrs from the release of unicorn. wt* is happening here? HMSI make it look as if they are inventing something for the future. this is f****** shit! It wont surprise me now if I hear HMSI is planing for 500cc motorcycle for 2024.
I think Honda is considering Indian market very silly and they very well know the popularity of their products in the market. They are least bothered to the much awaited anxiety and thrill in the minds of the people waiting for new products from Honda when other players are introducing every new product in a year. Still playing the role of an onlooker. They do not realize that their delay is another one’s profit. All this is happening due to over confidence in their product and the demand they are enjoying currently.
Indian CIty having a road to drive above 100 CC bike in normal trafic.Giving a permission on above 100 CC bike is not worth. you also seen some teenager drive 150CC bike on road who is not capabel to handel a Power.GOV Think on that
well well, if the info is true, honda do the right thing. AT LEAST a 250cc model. I hope it’s the same than the brazilian one or their famous 250cc model. 250cc segment is really important cause you go above the commuter segment with reliable, strong fast engines.
Honda should focus on 125cc and above bikes. Now it time for power bikes. Honda should go in for high tech products and emphasis should be given to ASS.
