Hero Honda launches new Achiever

Hero Honda has refreshed its 150cc motorcycle Achiever. Achiever bombed at the 150cc segment which is dominated by the likes of Bajaj Pulsar, Honda Unicorn and Yamaha FZ. The new Achiever gets sporty body graphics, puncture resistant tyres with tuff-up tube and all black engine and alloy wheels. New Achiever also comes with the option of red cast alloy wheels. Achiever is priced Rs 84590 (on-road bangalore) and Rs85379 (on-road Bangalore). The prices mentioned here are quoted from the Hero Honda website.

it looks like its a mistake in pricing
I too got shocked on knowing the price from HH Website and I thought it could be a “human error”. How can it be more expensive than Karizma?
wat da hell kinda pricing it is.i recently wen down d street thru an advertisement posted abt a second hand “ACHIEVER” which was of a 2008 model.B4 seeing that bike i saw d image of dis bike in the net.but it was ok for me d 2010 model achiever.wen i saw it it was not dat impressive wen v see thru our naked eyes.and in terms of pricing,it’s 4 sure dat dis bike is gonna go so deeeeeeeepppppppppppp beneath dis earth.and der r various other models from diff manufacturers.So,instead if wasting d tym by launching it they cud go 4 different new make in a better pricing.

The pricing should be on-road 58000 around in Banglaore. There in pricing is At par to that of Pulsar 135 and should be lesser than Shine. I recall that Herohonda breakup with Honda Heromotors should clear Current stocks there in mix and match of vehicles will be comming in the market for next 6 months then they will only sell 100CC vehicle then later enter into HeroMotors Branding product. At that time Mahindra will use Herohonda 100CC Engine mill as 110 CC and handle the assignment , In that Aspect Ex-Kinetic motors are Experts in picking odd parts and make vehicle and sell in market [ Eg. King 100 , GF124 ], Good move will be there when TVS comes with TVS neo Vehicle Step thru there in Mahindra and Heromotors will come up with 80CC Geared vehcile for City use also fuel efficient.
After the launch of Discovr 150, Yamaha dropped in the Sz series, but its 10k more the than the Disco’s price tag. Now, its HH Achiever. Achiever is also a good bike in terms of refinement and mileage buit lacks in looks. Anyways, All the best HH.
