GM launched Chevrolet new Tavera Neo-2

GM today launched a facelifted version of its MUV Tavera. Named as Tavera Neo-2 gets new features both on the exteriors and interiors. “As a result of the feedbacks received, the Chevrolet Tavera once again raises the bar in terms of features and personal amenities for its segment,” said GM India President and Managing Director Karl Slym. Tavera Neo-2 is priced at Rs9.54 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). GM (General Motors) which currently sells 1700 – 1800 units of Tavera hopes to sell 2000 units with the introduction of Tavera Neo-2. General Motors announced it will launch an all new mini compact global car in 2010 which will complement the Spark and the UVA which are currently available in the Chevrolet stable.GM also said that it would launch a small car that would complement spark and U-VA in 2009.

New features includes

* A larger grille with a bigger Chevrolet bowtie and an elongated air dam for the new facelifted tavera neo-2.

* Stylish graphics on the body panels

*  Three spoke steering wheel replaces existing two spoke in the new Tavera neo-2

* GM Tavera Neo-2 also gets a refreshed instrument panel and the central console is now projected towards the driver

* The new Tavera Neo-2 gets a closed glove box.

* Dual tone beige interiors is a new addition in the Tavera Neo-2

    Tavera is a Useless vehicle. we have SSD1/2500 cc Top End Model It Does not Go Above 80 Km/h Speed/mileage in City is 6.5 kmpl / on Hi-way is 8.7 kmpl / Tavera Is So NOISEY Machine You Cant Sit Inside / High Vibration / No Safety Measures / this is unable to Drive. i Asked the GM to rectify the Problem thy said that Why Did You Buy This Vehicle. This unable to use. Tavera is Worst Quality Vehicle it will kill the Driver. There is no costumers service from GM . Its so clear That GM is making Vehicles to Steel Our NATIONS ECONOMY they make NON VALUE VEHICLES an Sell them for Higher Value in Market. so be Careful. There r many Optional / Other car QUALITY & VALUE FOR MONEY maker like TATA, M&M, TOYATA, MARUTHI. DON’T BUY GM CHEVERLET {Spl/ Tavera & Spark} Pls DON’T SUFFER LIKE ME.

    ha.. ha.. ha… great comedy gixinme. I am also having the same vehicle. But mine is going 130 Km/h. City mileage 14 kmpl. Highway 17 kmpl. I think you dont know how to drive and how to maintain a vehicle. I love my tavera. So please shut up ur a..

    6.5 to 8.7 mileage?????… really it’s a big jock budy, how can possible? I think “gixinme” comments is right, he is not maintaining his Tavera. Because this mileage goes to lamborghini, bentley, type Petrol engine sports cars not diesel engine.

    gixinme R u nuts U dnt kno hw 2 maintain ur tavera!!! it’s an awsome car mine reaches 140kmph in fact my fourth gear reaches 100kmph u suck man chevy is an amazing american company which is rapeing d japnese car companys and milage is like 14 in city nd 19 on higway nd everyonz tavera has d same milage nd speed xcept 4 urz
    i luv d tevera engine wen it rores (noise) i guess u hate american car companys nd luv d jap craps hehe

    I Have TAVERA SSD1 (Top End) Model Worth Rs.10,30,000/- PLS Know that Tavera is not worth Rs.10,30,000/- { Pls buy Tavera Only you get it for Rs. 5,00,000/- Becaus Tavera is = to the standerds of 1. Tata Sumo, 2. M&M Bolero, 3.M&M Jeep Model 4. A Share Auto With 4 Wheels,*** Pls think What is yous in Spending Rs. 10 lak & Loan INTREST & Hidn Cost for tavera? When we get the same Or better for Rs.4,00,000/- Tavera is a if u still want to buy GM Vehicles iam Sorry My Dear Friend U will Be Fooled by GM’s Policy.

    1.Power Less vehicle (Tavera Dos Not Have Power Full Engine)
    2.Tavera Should be Frequently Serviced for every 600 to 8oo km or you can’t drive it.
    3.Tavera is a Standards & Quality like a (Share Auto with 4 wheels)
    4.Tavera has High Vibrations & Noise will Kill your Driver an you (you cant drive it Even Normaly)
    5.You will be Mentally, Psychologically, Economically affect by Tavera Bonus is You Have to Pay Lone Intrest Insurance for For Usless SHIT. GM> TAVERA
    6.GM Says that Tavera Has 2500 CC Engine But Engine Pickup is not even like (Dsl Share Auto)
    7.Nothing is nice in Tavera ( i have driven Tavera for 1 stretch of 3800 k.m. a single trip to two States * let it be City or Hi-way you will not like to drive it after buying )

    In my Vehicle we ware 6 members with 2 Mid Bags of cloths was our laguge in tavera an driving GM Tavera alonley In Back of all Vehicles in NH road an i saw a Tata New Van Mode Worth Rs. 5,00,000/- With i think about 13 to 14 members in that van and on the top of the Van Ifound about 4 to 5 feet Hight & breih Laugeg Was tied in the laguge carrier Just past Away like a flite. I could not do any thing Still {1.) I Have RS. 10,30,000/- Tavera 2500 CC Engine, 2.) With Tank Full of Fuel, 3.) Clear High Way Road in front of me, 4.) I have 7 Years Driving Experince, 5.)My Vehicle’s Exelarator Pedal was Fully Floor Downed an Tavera Was STRUGLING In 98 to 105 Kmph IN Extreem Level With Huge Noice From Engine an My RS. 10,30,000/- TAVERA DID Not Go More then 110 Kmph that Van Just Flyed away i could not even see thear tail light, I thought My New Vehicle Should be Tuned UP For PICK UP. When i gave my Vehicle to Service In GM Authoriced Service Center I had achance to meet fu Tavera Customers Who use tavera for 1 year. we spock to each others an I was Shoked That Every One Was Felling the same what i felt.

    Well gixinme you are an Idiot in the first place…. Forget the Top Speed or torque this is even best in class mileage, Go get you driveing skills checked from Taxiowners who know pretty well why Tavers is best value for Money, You think Taxi owners are fool that they are buying tavera….its because it has good haulage capacity and is the best value for money…

    Dear ‘gixinme’,
    I think u are a fraud.Each and every web u published the same comments about tavera.I agree there may be some goods and bads,but it is not like you.I am staying in Bangalore and having three year old Tavera LS model (yellow board).It gives a good mileage-without a/c 15 in the city and 18-20 in free ways.Only the problem I felt in Tavera is the noise (but its a turbo)and we cannot repair as Sumo.I think u are the staff publisher for Tavera’s enemies.If u want a proof of Tavera performance please call 99860-86191 free of I will a 100 km test drive for you.

    what is ur problem yaar. why u r writing stupid comments about tavera. my experiance with it forced me to reply u. altough i don’t ve tavera. i m using a 2008 safari dicor 2.2 ex. but my best friend have a tavera ss. i usually drives his tavera. i found it a fantastic vehicle. i think its built quality is 2nd best after innova. i m thinking dat why i bought safari bcoz i don’t like safari bcoz i found dat tavera & innova r much better than safari. tavera has better build quality, ride, comfortable, a better family vehicle, better economy, resale, gud+better interiors, better value of money & engine than safari. only thing in which safari is better than tavera is off-road ability.

    I VE TO SAID U MR. GIXINME THAT U DON’T KNOW HOW TO DRIVE & MAINTAIN A VEHICLE.
