tata prima – a luxury sedan
Prima, the concept luxury sedan designed by Pininfarina, is an iteration of the next generation luxury sedan from Tata Motors. It combines the fundamental design characteristics of the Tata brand, as seen in the Tata Indigo, with sporty curvatures to create a coupe-like silhouette, simple yet refined with an inherent premium. The Tata Prima’s large wheelbase of 2.70 metres endows it with excellent interior space that a luxury sedan demands. The subtle treatment of the C pillar, the hallmark of a Pininfarina design’s gracefulness and sporty characteristic, brings forth a coupe-like sloped cabin and tapering back without compromising interior space. The result is that the Tata Prima concept exudes an overall elegance, endowed with style, luxury and comfort and proportions that are classical yet modern.

what a wonders from TATA
they are proving musculanity internationally
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE PRIMA IS F***ING BRILLIANT!!!!!
I HOPE WE GET MORE INFORMATION ON WHEN THEY WILL LAUNCH THIS!!!
GUYS PLEASE TELL US!!
I hope they begin to sell Tata Nano’s in Turkey soon. I want to thank my Indian brothers for presenting the world such a cute, inexpensive and innovative vehicle.
Hats Off to TATA engineers!!
Wow! the Prima looks absolutely fantastic!! i sure do hope they launch this here sooner than 2011…any chance that the new indigo will borrow looks from this car???
Actually it is not designed by TATA engineers, it is Deigned by Pininfirina of italy.
This looks like the first fruit to come out of the TATA-JLR venture.
when the whole world is bringing quality cars to india TATA doesnt have the guts to present the same quality cars in INDIA
Its sad that an indian motor company ‘TATA’…provides high styled vehicles for other countries and gives poorly designed vehicles for its own country ppl…its like a tree giving fruits to ur enemy which u grew with care…for example see the nano car model for our india and europe that shows the difference.
nano europa will sell for around 3.75 lakhs. in india no-one will buy such a small car for that price. indian version was made to cost less and be affordable to thousands.
europe and americas have tough safety laws for vehicles since they have a lot of inter-state freeways and cars run at super speeds. whereas city driving conditions in a metro like delhi don’t allow you to cross even 60.
so it makes no sense to say we are victims of double standards.
Dear Parkor, I am fully agreed with u. And Hats Off to TATA.
Great but when india will get such wonderful cars like prima on indian roads?I feel proud and also disappointed coz,In fact we desparately need such luxury cars here in india. If TATA can give the Quality and refinement of BMW,BENZ in their standard low cost high value strategy it would be great.PRIMA looks nothing Less than a SUPER PREMIUM car.16-18lakhs for PRIma with features that of Audi-A4 which costs 30lk INR would be greart from TATA.Then India would also become like japan people will only buy TATA’s if they maintain Good quality standards like other international car makers, and also fill in all the segments with new cars.
