Every car/bike manufacturer wish to introduce new models to tap the festive demand, but only few of them is lucky to do that. Others roll out special/limited edition of their existing models. Last week, skoda rolled out a new variant of its luxury sedan superb. In the mid size segment Honda launched new city earlier this month. Now, Ford has come out with a limited edition variant of its popular sedan Fiesta. Ford fiesta 1.6L fida edition powered by 1.6 l duratec engine offering features like intelligent rear de-fogger, front fog lamps, programmable keyless entry, trip computer apart from other features, Scott Mcormac, Vice President, Marketing, Ford India told.
The 1.6L duratec(petrol) fiesta is refreshed/upgraded with new features
* classy turn indicators and alloy wheels for the fiesta ’s fida edition
* New fiesta fida edition interiors are refurbished with colour co-ordinated leather vinyl seat covers and vinyl door trim
* integrated music player for the fida edition of fiesta
According to Ford, now the dream car(Ford Fiesta) at a dream price. With this new features, the Fiesta 1.6 Fida edition is priced at Rs 6.6 lakh ex-showroom, Chennai. This is almost Rs30,000 less than the cost of the Ford Fiesta 1.6L SXi.
no doubt ford fiesta iz a gr8 car….but i think therez no safety features in it…i wanna buy a car which ll hv all d safety features..like sx4 zxi…a gr8 car….with everything in it…n 1 thing d fiesta in diesel is a hit not in petrol…so suggest me guyz either i go 4 fiesta or sx4?

I bought a Fida Edition 1.6 fiesta. The Engine is a bomb and the throttle response is very nice. I didnt like the gear shift too much , in relation with Hyundai Verna.
The plastics, upholstery used in the car are of very high quality. Even the switch gear, knobs and stuff are upmarket.
I have driven only 600 Kms till now.. but it has impressed me a lot and is a good Highway car which can be driven in city too.
The driver seating position, the Engine and the car overall, Ford fieata is the car to go for (1.6 litre). If u r a Maruti person
