After refreshing the entire pulsar family motorcycles, Bajaj plans to launch new variants of its Disover motorcycle. Bajaj currently sells discover 135cc which was refreshed only last year. We already informed you that Bajaj would re-launch the 125cc version of Discover as the sales of Xcd 125cc fails to take off. The new discover will be built at Bajaj’s Pantnagar facility. Bajaj plans to launch the new discover between August and September 2009. Bajaj also plans to launch the Kawasaki Ninja before the end of 2009.

Bajaj should release ‘NEWS’ items on the day of launch, not months or years before, I think in 2006 Bajaj said LPG bike will be launched in ‘two months’ but still that bike is not released. Hope Bajaj learns some media manners going forward.
yah it’s a fantastic idea to launch the new version of discover 125 with the features of 135 . I think foot holders of back seater should also be changed like in XCD. I am already having discover 125cc since three years.now I want to buy a new bike of bajaj if new discover 125cc launched upto october,2009 I will definately go for it because 125cc gives a handsome milage of 60-65 easily and also power which is excellent I think an average caustmer deesn’t require morethan this!
I don’t understand why Bajaj is failing time and again even with juicy launches. People are happy with competition bikes than Bajaj. No owner of CT100/Platina/XCD125 will ever recommend Bajaj bikes. In India, the brand spreads by the virtue of product quality as percieved by customers, who recommend and spread good words if the product is good. Bajaj has failed to keep quality of Boxer/Caliber. They instead started offering cheaper ones to people to increase sales and beat Hero Honda. but Hero Honda today sells 3.7 lakhs and Bajaj sells just 1.0 lakh.
Bajaj’s experiment of ‘increased sales’ with new launches will not click, already Platina125/XCD125 are flops inspiye of good ad campaign. Even Pulsars are failing against Hunk/Unicorn/Xtreme/FZ/GSR.
Bajaj is panicking badly, their downfall is imminent if they don’t treat customers with due respect with substanard bikes.
bajaj discover 135cc failed at the sales husting and so will other bajaj products unless and until bajaj inculcate ‘QUALITY’ into their products. Discover135 sporty failed for one reason the lousy and stupid tank extension with front indicators, inspite of customers dealers,media experts and auto magzines asking bajaj to junk the tank extension bajaj has paid no heed.

Firt and foremost, Bajaj has to look into the redisng of the Exhaust (silencer).
Most of the pulsar has this problem.
