Come December, the Indian roads will look upon a new breed from Bajaj, the country’s most popular bike maker. The new Pulsar 150cc is slated for the release in a month’s time and is expected to number about 10 lakh units of Pulsar range alone including the new one in 2010. Bajaj thus intends to focus more on sporty category and power train. The price is yet to be made known though there are three versions on Pulsar – in 150cc, 180cc and 220cc engines. Pulsar is gracious enough for Bajaj to yield 80% increase in the sales in the last six months. The Q2 of 2009-10 received an average sale figure of 45000 units/month against 25000 units in the whole second half of 2008—09; there is 50% increase in the sports segment alone.
