Yamaha India is now focussing on the launch of various scooters in India as the demand for scooters in the country increases nowadays.Yamaha plans to launch its scooters in India in 2012 which will mainly compete with Honda scooters.The scooters of Yamaha will be manufactured locally at the company’s production plants in Surajpur and Faridabad.This slideshow contains some of the Yamaha’s upcoming scooters in India.The scooters feature a stylish and smart design as like the motorcycles of Yamaha.It is expected that the company will invest about Rs.10 crores in order to increase its scooter capacity by one million units.The Yamaha scooters for India has been developed in Japan.The company has also plans to launch an electric bike in India.We can expect the Yamaha scooters in the price range of Rs.50,000 to Rs.80,000. |
