Honda’s new CBR150R sports bike is to be launched within few days at a price of Rs.1,15,000. Powered by a 150cc, DOHC, four valve, single cylinder engine, the CBR150R will toughly compete with KTM Duke 200 and also will take on Yamaha R15. The 150cc engine of CBR150R will deliver a maximum power of 18PS and a peak torque of 12.6Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. The CBR150R exactly resembles the CBR250R except the smaller exhaust muffler which is larger on the CBR250R. The bike features a super high pillion seat which will be one of its major advantageous feature. The CBR150R will be fully built in India and the company plans to sell more than 3500 units every month following its launch. |
