HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge". HID lights get their name from the intense light produced by the electrical discharge. HID conversion kits can be installed in any car in india. HID kits are often mentioned with wattage like 4300K, 6000K, 8000K, 10,000K, 12,000K and 30,000K. These numbers have nothing to do with brightness. The numbers simply reflect the color output of the HID bulbs. 4100k to 4300k HID bulbs which produce the most daylight-like light output. Lower temperature like 3000k will produce deep gold-yellow colour, suitable for fog lights. Higher colour temperatures will output light with a hint of blue/purple like the 5000k - 6000k bulbs, higher rated bulbs will be bluer and eventually purple in colour as you go up the scale.
