Rajasthan Transport Department has started Online facility for the people of the state. The online process of obtaining driving license is started. Any person who have motor vehicle or planning to drive any kind of vehicle must have driving license. Without have driving license, a person is not able to drive motor vehicle in public places. So you must have valid driving license.

http://www.transport.rajasthan.gov.in/ is the official website of Rajasthan Transport Department from where the online application for Driving License may be submitted. I am providing you the steps of Online application for Driving License in Rajasthan state of India.

How to apply for Online Application for Learner’s License in Rajasthan:

1) First you need to visit the official website of Rajasthan Transport Department
http://www.transport.rajasthan.gov.in/.

2) You will see three options.
Learners License Application
Change in Allotted Date of Test/Time Slot
Search Applicant Information

3) Click on Learning License Online Application. The next page will be appear in front of you.

4) Now fill the application form for Learner’s License with all the information
i) First you need to select Licensing Issuing Office Name in the form.
ii) Select the Vehicle Category for which you are going apply for Learner License
iii) Now provide your Name, Permanent Address, Phone No., Email ID, Date of Birth etc.
iv) Now fill your Educational Qualification, Identification Mark etc.
v) Now you will need to fill the Date and Time, on which you have to give computerised test.
vi) Now Click on Save box.

5) Now, you will receive a date and time (as per your selection) after submission of application form.

6) You must reach to the Office of RTO on the stipulated date and time with all the required documents. You have to deposit the fee for test and license in the office.

7) After verification of all the documents and after all the formalities, you will be required to appear for a test on computer. 20 questions will be given to you and you need to solve atleast 12 question of them. The question will be based on traffic, rules and regulations, safety etc.

8) Once you clear the test, you will be able to get learner’s license.

Required Documents submitted with online Application form for Learner’s License.

i. Application form no. 1 – Medical Declaration

ii. Two recent passport size photographs of the applicant

III. Residence Proof – The applicant can submit anyone of the following for the proof of residence.

1) Voter ID Card
2) Photo ID card
3) Life Insurance Policy
4) Passport
5) Pay slip issued by State or Central govt.
6) Aadhaar Card

iv. Age Proof – The applicant can submit anyone of the following for the proof of age.

1) School Certificate
2) Birth Certificate
3) Passport
4) Aadhaar Card
5) Life Insurance Policy

V. The applicant must be atleast 8th standard to get the driving license

Fees for Category I Learning License :

Learning License Fees – Rs. 30/-
Trial Fees – Rs. 50/-
Permanent License fees – Rs. 200/-
Total Rs. 280/- needed to be submitted on the cast counter of the office.
Rs. 80/- will be extra charged for each one above category.
