Unless the face lift undergoes any mechanical changes ,the face lift won’t be exciting- just by adding some cosmetic upgrades-Thus the Polo is designed with more style, advanced technology, power and comfort all in one package.

Exterior Styling:

Frankly speaking, there is nothing much to describe about its exterior styling. Orange shade that is being poured in to the original look gives it a colorful appeal. Subtle changes are made at the front that includes aggressive front grille along with a body-colored bumper with integrated fog-lamps and a chrome strip running across it. Further, integrated turn indicator on the ORVM's,15-inch alloy wheels that are available only on the Highline variant, and a new rear bumper with integrated license-plate carrier and reflectors are found to receive a little up gradations. The car holds a rear spoiler with high level brake light at the middle and the company’s logo is placed down the rear glass and it is mainly for the trunk opener. The car comes with a body colored door handles and body colored rear view mirrors.

INTERIOR DESIGN:

The car gets a sporting steering with audio controls as a standard provision. Dual front airbags also gets added to this list for ensuring safety. The car is spacious enough to accommodate luggage compartment light, front door side pockets, glove box, storage area with lid and dash centre, front cup holder, sunglass storage inside glove box, single folding rear seat backrest etc. comfortable features includes Air conditioner, Power Steering, Power Door Lock, Power window,Tilt and telescopic adjustable steering etc. The car is integrated with an advanced audio system CD/MP3 with 4 speakers ensures lot of entertainment. Five members can travel over long journey without any troubles. For more convenience, it has an interior rear view mirror-manual day/night, front armrest, front intermittent wipers, tinted glass, rear defogger and rear wiper, front comfort seats, easy entry sliding seats, seat height adjustment for driver’s and front passenger’s, folding rear seat etc. Apart from these, Volkswagen Polo also has a remote central locking, controls for the rear and front windows at the driver’s door, three grab handles above doors-folding with coat hooks, fuel lid with push style opening and multi function display along with open door warning light.

ENGINE&PERFORMANCE:

The engine is being pushed around with smooth and responsive acceleration with the turbo kicking.Since Volkswagen Polo has been launched with both petrol and diesel variants the engines are also expected to deliver different levels of engine performance and acceleration. The petrol variant of the car is powered by a 1.2L, 1198 cc enengine along with the five speed manual transmission which churns out the maximum power of 73.9 BHP @ 5400 RPM and maximum torque of 110 NM @ 3750 RPM. Another petrol variant is housed with a 1.2L TSI, 1197 cc engine with dual clutch seven speed DSG delivering 103.6 BHP @ 5250 RPM power and 153 NM @ 3750 RPM torque. Likewise, the diesel variant of the car comes with a 1.2L, 1199 cc, 3 cylinder, inline engine delivering maximum power of 73.9 BHP @ 4200 RPM and maximum torque of 180 NM @ 2000 RPM along with a five speed gearbox. These engine options ensures excellent performance and acceleration. 100 kmph in mere 9.7 seconds.Thus the fuel economy figures are fairly impressive with an ARAI-certified 20.14Kn/l for the Polo 1.5-litre TDI and 19.91Km/l for the Polo GT TDI.

RIDING&HANDLING:

Considering the conditions of the Indian roads, Facelift Polo is designed with the softer suspension. The drive is quite hassle-free, with the quick-gear shifts and decent power at low speeds. Better handling is being provided that makes the hatchback stable. Out on the open roads, the sporty steering feels more responsive and heavy, thus allowing you to steer the car easily through wide turns at high speeds. The car is packed with an advanced braking technology such as Antilock Braking System which improves the handling of the car and it assures that it can never skid out of control even in case of hard braking.

VERDICT:

Volkswagen Polo is a great value for money.The above mentioned exterior styling,intrinsic features and mileage seems to be an evident factor.

Fantastic Hatchback Car

Volkswagen Polo comes with an excellent interiors and exteriors. Its tail lamps, sportive steering wheel and some other extra features makes this vehicle stand out of the crown. It has been fitted with a comfortable leather seats, spacious interiors, smooth accelerator, clutch and brake. Talking about the engine, the Polo delivers excellent performance in terms of power and torque as well as good pick up. The fuel efficiency of the vehicle is just awesome which returns a fuel economy of 22.3 kmpl. All features are good and it does not need to improve anything. Overall, volkswagen polo is the marvelous hatchback car in India which is very smooth to drive.

Worst Service Experience

Hi, I have recently bought a VW Polo and they ensured four years of warranty at the time of booking and now. During booking Polo, the dealer promised me a lot of accessories including warranty, car cover and many spares but they have not performed as their promise. My kind advice is not to go for Volkswagen products and even dont think for that brand in future. Please try to spread this issue as soon as possible.. Thanks friends.

Good Car from Volkswagen

My vehicle is Volkswagen Polo which I have bought at a very limited price tag but packed with lot of comfortable and convenient features such as ample leg room and head room, airbags for all passengers, seat belts, anti lock braking system, perfect spacious cabin, ac with a heater, decent car audio system, multi function steering wheel of easily tiltable and adjustable. I like the car very much for its awesome incredible features but the safety features can be added more.

Poor Customer Service

I like the car very much for its attractive exteriors and its comfortable clutch and gears which looks like Alto/Eon. It has very less space and its pick up is average. Its customer service is really pathetic. Actually I gave my car to replace the front bumper just ten days ago. But still it is not in progress. Even they would not start the work and the dealers are also not able to pick up the call which is very much irritating. Do not go for Volkswagen brand better to choose any other except this. The spares are also very expensive.
