TVS have offered the Scooty Zest 110 in an upgraded fashion mainly targeting the young girls who are in favour of the light-weighted Scooty. The reason why the young girls wander around the world of blue-eyed Scooty is due to the comforts that is being provided as a standard in terms of low seat height and easy to use centre stand. Now, we can see what are the up gradation are being done with the Scooty Zest. Frankly speaking, the changes come with only styling and proportion, whereas the technical part remains untouched.

Ergonomics

: Regarding its features, twilight lamps that hold the prestigious TVS logo at its base where the headlamp sits on it, gives the front apron a stylish look.Leaf-shaped rear view mirrors are designed well.To have a good start, high quality grip and nice painted switches are positioned at the right place, that will give a smooth push back. Along with the button start, kick start option is also being provided. Let’s wind up with the discussion with the front end. On speaking about the rear end, compact muffler with a stainless steel guard is provided for safety purpose to tackle with the rainy conditions. The smart looking grab rail adds beauty to its overall design. However,the appearance of the scooter that comes in the colour shades of black and white is not so pleasing. LED lamps play a major role in achieving greater reliability and light weightedness.

Instrument Console

: The instrument console consists of speedometer that gets with all white black-lit unit, odometer, fuel gauge and econometer that displays the the mileage information. Besides, another curious thing is to note is that presence of idle indicator mainly employed to conserve the fuel. Comfortness&Scalability

: On viewing the spacious aspect, the textured floorboard has been provided with somewhat wider, that can be ever seen before, because it is the widest in its class. Sufficient space is there in the open glove box to place the water bottle and other things. Even a two hooks are provided, one gets attached to the glove box and the other one is under the seat for carrying small bags. The seat is broad and comfortable. Enough space has been provided under the seat to accommodate the helmets, laptops etc.

Engine&Performance

: The Scooty shares the engine with the Wego , however it has been slightly tweaked to produce up to 8 PS of power and 8.7 Nm of torque at 5500 rpm. In case of its performance, the scooter is not built for fast track purpose ,the mileage would come up to 60km/hr in the time of 11.1 sec, at the startling .Handling and performance is best while riding,the quality credits go to the telescopic front suspension and the hydraulic monoshock rear suspension,as it takes cares of the bumps and uneven surfaces.

Riding&handling

: There are two interesting cues has been spied out. The first one is that front brake -110 mm drum is smaller than the rear, that too especially 130 mm plays a vital role in producing excellent braking confidence. Both the front tyre that uses a 100 profile and the rear that uses a 90 profile are found to be 90 section tyres on 10 inch rims. To achieve desirable chassis performance with the aid of front tubeless tyre that uses a taller profile ,the aforementioned specifications has been serving as the engineering solutions. Further, brakes proves to the intriguing solution in bringing the front-rear distribution to 40-60,that even makes the scooter planted and stable.
