The hybrid scooter TVS Qube will be one of the hot launch from the TVS Motors with an expected price range of around Rs.70,000-Rs.75,000. The new scooter will be considered as the first scooter in India with hybrid drive. It will have an an unique design loaded with lot of exciting features and it will be a tough competitor to Piaggio Vespa LX and other scooters . The Qube may be available only in white color at the beginning of the launch.
The upcoming TVS Qube will be quite impressive and unique with its styling and appearance. The front panel of the scooter will be gifted with the bright headlamp in the middle resembling like the lens of a DSLR camera and it is surrounded by turn indicators. It will have white colored rear view mirrors on the handle to be updated with the rear happenings of the road. The decent dashboard of the scooter will have an innovative design with an analogue speedometer and fuel gauge on the instrument panel.
The TVS Qube will come with a beautifully carved slim factor with futuristic looking body graphics along with a lens type tail light and turn indicators in the back panel. The seating arrangement of the scooter will be very comfortable with an ergonomically designed seat with foot rest space which is quite impressive. The fuel tank capacity of the scooter is expected to be around 4-6 liters for better fuel efficiency. The scooter will provide the wheelbase of around 1230 mm and the width of the scooter is approximately 657 mm. Apart from that, it will feature a standard start stop system.
The TVS Qube will be powered by a 100cc, 4 stroke engine with an electric hub motor and lithium ion battery pack fitted with the scooter. The Qube is expected to deliver better performance in terms of power, torque, fuel efficiency etc. The engine of the scooter will be mated to an automatic gearless transmission for smooth ride. It may produce the maximum torque of around 13 Nm and 800W battery will also be present for any emergency purpose.
The scooter will be offered with two riding options namely Hybrid Economy Mode and Hybrid Power Mode. The vehicle can be able to offer the fuel efficiency of around 70 kmpl and it will give quicker acceleration while changing into power mode. It will have the possibility of less emission of Carbon di-oxide which is quite good.
The TVS Qube will have regenerative braking mechanisms in which both front and rear will have drum brakes for ultimate control of the vehicle. For better safety, the bike will be provided with the bright headlamp, tail lamp and turn indicators for a safe drive on roads. The side profile of the scooter will be fitted with tubeless alloy wheels for a firm grip and excellent built up quality.
