The Laura is a genuinely nice car. It is luxurious and comfortable. The engine is responsive and offers great fun. But I think the car is spoiled by the after sales service. There are very few service stations that offer courteous service and maintain the car properly. There have been complaints about problems creeping up after the service.
I bought a Laura recently. I think it has the best build quality in Indian cars. I think for a diesel it has great power and the torque pulls it very sharply. It is also one of the most comfortable cars in India. It even comes close to Mercedes C Class in luxury. But it is very expensive to maintain. The spare parts are also expensive. So I think this its only fault.
