Mahindra Mojo 300 Review

One of the leading manufacturer Mahindra Two Wheelers launched its new bike known as Mojo 300 in Indian market priced around Rs.2,50,000. It is believed to be a very tough competitor to its similar other bikes and it would definitely impress the young bike enthusiasts. The competitor bike involves Honda CBR250R, Ninja 300 and many more.

Dimensions of Mahindra Mojo 300

The dimensions of Mahindra Mojo 300 in terms of length, width and height are displayed below.

Apart from that, the bike offers the wheelbase of around 1450 mm and ground clearance of 150 mm. The total kerb weight of the Mahindra Mojo 300 is found to be 160 kg.

Design and Style

The new Mojo 300 looks really very good with the stylish exterior features such as decent front fascia, wide fuel tank, step up seat and excellent rear. The bike features a dual toned white and red paint scheme from Mahindra racing and it gets a different exhaust, sticky tyres along with an upgraded engine.

The Mahindra Mojo 300 has been designed with a twin tube exposed steel frame painted with shining yellow looking very attractive. The front appearance of the bike is aggressive with a twin beams multi reflector halogen bulb of 35W/35W x 2 for better vision during night time ride. The bike will be provided with a maintenance free battery of 12V, 9 AH which is quite useful.

The dashboard is decorated with an instrument cluster holding instruments such as speedometer, odometer and fuel guage for displaying the vital information of the bike in just a glance. The fuel tank of the bike is little broad with the fuel tank capacity of 15.5 liters respectively. The step up seating arrangement is also good and comfort for long journeys. The rear is quite sharp and stylish fitted with a 12 LED type tail lamp.

Engine Details

The Mahindra Mojo 300 is employed with a 4 stroke, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4 valves, direct drive, DOHC engine with a displacement of around 295cc. The engine churns out the maximum power output of 26 bhp at 8500 rpm in coupling with the maximum torque of 24 Nm at 7000 rpm. The bore and stroke of the Mojo 300 is measured as 78 mm and 61.2 mm along with the compression ratio of 11:1 respectively. The bike is fitted with an electric start option enabling the rider to start the vehicle in an easy way. The engine of Mojo 300 gets mated to the six speed gearbox with manual transmission and ECU ignition which is quite good for smooth and efficient ride.

Brakes and Suspensions

Both front and rear has disc brakes in which the front brake is of 320 mm and the rear brake is of 220 mm. This would suddenly halt the vehicle even travelling at high level of speed. Similarly, the front suspension is provided with an inverted fork telescopic hydraulic damped where as the rear suspension comes with a horizontally mounted mono shock air along with hydraulic damping of diameter 120 mm stroke. This excellent braking and suspensions helps to handle the vehicle without any trouble and offers a hassle free ride experience. The side profile of the Mojo 300 is packed with an alloy wheel and tubeless and radial tyres of front tire size of 100/80-17 and rear tire size of 150/60-17 which helps to prevent from skidding.
