Z250 is one of the upcoming naked sportive bike from the manufacturer Kawasaki which is expected to be priced around Rs.3,00,000. The new street bike may be available in three different colors namely Black, Red and White. The Z series of the Kawasaki bike has borrowed most of its features from its elder siblings such as Z800 and Z1000. The Kawasaki Z250 will be considered as a great bike with the combination of powerful engine, great handling, excellent brakes and safety features.

Dimensions

The dimensions of Kawasaki Z250 in terms of length, width and height are displayed below.

Along with that, the bike will provide the larger wheelbase of around 1405 mm and the kerb weight is 168 kg.

Design and Style

The Kawasaki Z250 gets an unique styling with minimal body panels and sharp edgy styling. The front appearance of the Z250 will be incorporated with a small cowl with a petite visor which houses a multi reflector head lamp for excellent vision during night time ride. The front will have an instrument cluster comprising a large analogue tachometer with an LCD display for instruments such as Speedometer, Odometer, dual trip meters, fuel guage and a clock.

The vehicle will come with a powder coated black handlebar with alloy finished switchgear and levers. Along with that, the bike is provided with a maintenance free battery which is very useful. The fuel tank of the bike has raised flanks with a fuel tank capacity of 17 litres. The Z250 will be fitted with a split seats and a slim rear end which resembles to Ninja 300. The rear appearance of the motorcycle looks very sharp and compact fitted with a LED tail lamp. The tyres are very fatty and the naked chain enhances the muscularity to the bike where as the gap between its rear tire and cowl provides the true essence of a street bike.

Engine Specification and Fuel Efficiency

The Kawasaki Z250 will be employed with a 249cc, 4 stroke, liquid cooled, parallel twin engine which can produce the maximum power output of 33 bhp at 11000 rpm in combination with the maximum torque of about 21 Nm at 9000 rpm. The engine of the Z250 will be mated to the six speed gearbox for comfortable riding. The bike will have an electric start option for the rider to start the vehicle in an easy way. The new bike is expected to offer 33 kmpl mileage on highway roads and 29.7 kmpl in heavy city traffic roads. It can be able to accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just seven seconds expected with the maximum speed of 155 kmph respectively.

Brakes and Suspensions

The Kawasaki Z250 can be able to stop immediately with the help of a single petal disc brake at both front and rear wheel which is quite good. On the other hand, the front suspension of the bike will come with a telescopic fork while the rear suspension will have a mono shock aided by a rectangular section swing arm for easy handling of the vehicle. The side profile gets a ten spoke alloy wheels with a front tire size of 110/70 x 17 and a rear tire size of 140/70 x 17. The puncture resistant tires help in offering better road gripness and prevents from skidding problems.
