Kawasaki Bajaj has launched its new Ninja series bike known as Ninja 250R with a price tag of Rs.2.5 lakh and the new bike is available in two colors namely Ebony and Lime Green. The Bajaj Ninja 250R comes with a powerful engine, excellent exterior features, awesome braking and suspension mechanisms which is quite good.

Style and Engineering

The Kawasaki Bajaj Ninja 250R is one of the sportive and racer bike looking very pretty and modern. The Ninja 250R has been designed with a steel tube diamond frame providing high strength and high durability which is very essential in a high performance frame. The sportive bike comes with a mass forward minimalist tail design concept which is quite outstanding. The front comes with an aggressive halogen headlamp for better vision at night time ride and it has a small visor.

The bike gets a stylish rear view mirror which helps the rider to know about the rear happenings of the road. The Ninja 250R is fitted with a decent dashboard with a sporty new and advanced technology instrument panel design. The handlebar is also very nice offering better gripness and easy to handle the bike at any situation.

The fuel tank of the bike looks very muscular and big with the fuel tank capacity of around 17 litres of fuel along with the company name affixed on the fuel tank. The seating arrangement of the bike is also totally different with a split type step up seat separating the space between the rider and pillion. The side profile of the bike is blessed with excellent panels and the rear comes with a sharp and compact end with a beautiful LED tail lamp which is quite attractive.

The Bajaj Ninja 250R is fitted with a liquid cooled, 4 stroke parallel twin engine producing the displacement very close to 249cc. The Ninja 250R engine delivers the maximum power output of 24 kw (33 ps) at 11000 rpm in combination with the maximum torque of 22 Nm (2.24 Kgm-m) at 8200 rpm. The engine of the bike is mated to the six speed gearbox with manual transmission and wet multi disc clutch type helps in smooth and convenient ride.

Kawasaki Bajaj Ninja 250R Fuel Efficiency

The liquid cooled technology of the bike helps the engine to be free from heat and makes the engine to be very cool for better performance. The bore and stroke of the bike is found to be 62 mm and 41.2 mm along with the compression ratio of 11.6:1 respectively . The Ninja 300 gets an electric start option enabling easy start up of the vehicle for the rider. The Ninja 250R can be able to accelerate from 0-60 kmph in less than five seconds with the maximum speed of around 170 kmph. The sportive bike is expected to deliver the fuel efficiency of around 30 kmpl.

Brakes and Suspensions

The Bajaj Ninja 300 has been designed with excellent braking and suspension mechanisms in which both front and rear wheels are fitted with a single petal disc brake type. The front brake of the bike is of 290 mm while the rear brake is of 220 mm. Likewise, the front suspension comes with a telescopic fork of 37 mm where as the rear suspension gets a bottom link uni trak with gas charged shock along with five way adjustable preload for simple handling of the bike. The Ninja 300 has an alloy wheel with a front tire size of 110/ 70-17 M/C (54W) and rear tire size of 130 / 70 - 17 M / C (62S) for better road gripness.
