The leading manufacturer Bajaj has decided to introduce its new Pulsar series bike named as Pulsar 250cc in Indian market. The new Pulsar 250cc would be a tough competitor to its similar other bikes and it is expected to be priced around Rs.1,10,000. The vehicle looks very pretty packed with an advanced technology and it is a performance bike with Racing DNA.

Bajaj Pulsar 250cc Dimensions

The dimensions of Bajaj Pulsar 250cc in terms of its length, width and height are represented below.

Along with that, the bike provides the larger wheelbase of 1350 mm and minimum ground clearance of 177 mm. The total kerb weight of the bike is found to be approximately 158 kg.

Style and Engineering

The Bajaj Pulsar 250 is well known for its style, technology and performance. The front fascia looks very royal with an ellipsoidal projector headlamps providing better vision to the rider while riding at night time and even in bad weather conditions. The vehicle is fitted with an excellent rear view mirror which helps to view the rear happenings of the road. The instrument cluster looks very neat with instruments such as speedometer, tripmeter and fuel guage etc. It also has some indicators and clip on handlebar which improves the sporty and aggressive look of this aerodynamic machine.

The seating arrangement of the bike is really comfortable with the split seats. The split seat helps to separate the rider and pillion space which provides more space for both. The rear appearance is also pretty packed with a Pulsar typical High intensity LED tail lamp clusters. The bike has been designed with dual hydraulic disc brakes which give an immediate stopping of the vehicle even riding at high speeds. The tubeless tyres in the bike helps in avoiding deflation in case of a puncture and thereby enhancing safety and better handling of the bike.

Engine Details

The Bajaj Pulsar 250cc is powered by a single cylinder, air cooled, 4 stroke SOH engine which churns out the maximum power output of 20 PS @ 8500 RPM in combination with the maximum torque output of 19.1 NM @ 6500 RPM. The engine of the vehicle is mated to the five speed transmission for convenient ride. The bike comes with an electric start option with a maintenance free battery for easy start up of the vehicle. The Pulsar 250cc is expected to offer the maximum speed of about 143 kmph. The bike would have the capability of holding 15.0 litre which is quite good.

Brakes and Suspensions

The front suspension of the Pulsar 250cc comes with a 37 mm telescopic hydraulic forks and the rear suspension is of nitrox gas assisted. This combination of front and rear suspension helps to handle the motorcycle in an efficient way. Similarly, the braking is also good in which both front and rear is fitted with a disc brake but the diameter varies. The front brake of the bike has a diameter of 260 mm and the rear brake is of 230 mm diameter.
