Bajaj Auto has planned to launch its new Pulsar variant 180 cc motorcycle named as Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS at the Auto Expo Event, 2014. It is expected that the upcoming motorcycle will be a tough competitor to its similar other bike TVS Apache RTR 180. The Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS price is found to be approximately Rs.85,000 which will be quite reasonable.
Design and Style
The new Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS will be provided with lot of exciting features, style and technology. Most of its design and hardware features are borrowed from the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS. The bike gets a similar design for the headlamps, tank, side and rear panels. The motorcycle will have a modified fuel tank with huge storage capacity. The front and rear will be fitted with a bright headlight and taillight for better vision at night time.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS Engine
The engine of the bike will be powered by a 4 valve, liquid-cooled engine with three spark plugs which can produce the maximum power output of 19 BHP and maximum torque of 16 NM with the displacement of around 180 cc. The liquid cooled technology of the engine helps to get rid of the heat and allows the engine to be very cool for giving better performance in terms of power, torque, mileage, acceleration and pick up. The engine will come with a six speed gearbox for easy and smooth gear transititions.
Bajaj Pulsar 180 NS Comfort
The Pulsar 180 NS has been designed with comfortable seating arrangements in which it gets a cushion type split seats for relax able long rides along with the set of two-piece grab rails and aluminium number plate holder. It has a stylish mudguard design resembles like the 200 NS and the bike is incorporated with the open O-Ring Chain adding more sporty appeal. The radiator cowls are provided as a part of styling which is really useful for cooling the fins. One of the surprising features of the new Pulsar 180 NS is the presence of the kick starter option which is not found in the current Pulsar 180 DTSi.
Brakes and Suspensions
The bike will be fitted with dynamic braking and suspension mechanisms in which the front and rear brakes are of disc brakes. This braking system stops the vehicle immediately even in high level of speed and in case of any emergency. In order to handle the bike easily, the bike gets a rear monoshock suspension which is quite good.
