VW launches top-spec Tiguan

A new top-of-the-range version of Tiguan compact SUV has got released by Volkswagen however it won’t be entering in UK. Adding, only in European markets, the Tiguan Track & Avenue will be available and has been made by VW’s custom styling arm, Volkswagen Individual.

Since most of the Track & Avenue’s features can be requested from the options list of its existing Tiguan range-topper, the R Line, the VW won’t be providing the model in the UK.

Further, the modifications in the style on the Track & Avenue are 19-inch alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, a new diffuser, new front fog lights, bi-xenon headlights and an option of two exclusive colours, the Oryx White Pearl Effect and Island Grey Pearl Effect.

The Track & Avenue comes with leather upholstery, sports seats, a leather-trimmed multi-function steering wheel and an improved stereo system in the inside section.

VW’s 197bhp 2.0 TSI engine is obtainable with a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox, whereas the 2.0 TDI is available with either 138bhp or 168bhp. And the lower-powered diesel is auto, although the more powerful model comes with a manual. The cost of the Track & Avenue is from 38,225 euros (£34,500).
