In the next 18 months, the Hyundai is planning to release several new models in the UK as it is targeting for the stronger position it established in the country’s scrappage scheme.
Adding, in the first up in the year 2010 the company will be releasing the Tucson replacement, the ix35. And in the second half of the year 2010, the company will release two new MPVs in an effort to broaden its range and compete in market sectors.
A five-seater is going to be the first MPV and it is based on the Kia Venga that was revealed at the Frankfurt motor show.

Further, the seven-seater is expected to be based on i-mode concept car that was displayed at the Geneva motor show in 2008. Hyundai will release a facelifted version of the popular i10 city car in the late 2010. New engines may make their way into the line-up and the styling and trim levels will revitalized.
Hyundai is planning to put back the model earlier than formerly envisaged possibly in the year 2011 and no facelift of the i30 hatchback will be released.
Moreover, a production version of the ix-metro concept from Frankfurt should appear in the year 2012.
