i-MiEV Cargo electric van for UK

Mitsubishi has made sure that its i-MiEV electric car will be moving into the sales in UK at the end of the year 2010. And it is considered that the first major use of EVs will be with small delivery vans.

Moreover it is shown at Tokyo show the Cargo that comes with the same drivetrain at the passenger version. A highly adaptable load bay is available at the back its two front seats.

Similar to the hatchback the electric battery provides the equivalent of 63bhp to the rear wheels and completely charged the range is just less than 100 miles.

Further no details are provided on whether the Cargo will wind up being sold in the UK.
