Renault has come up with the Kangoo ZE concept which is one of four electric concepts that has been showed at the Frankfurt show to preview its upcoming electric range.
In the year 2011, the Kangoo ZE will be entering for the sales and unveils an electric van in the line-up will be appearing. Adding, the electric Kangoo is motorized by lithium ion batteries, placed below the dashboard and it connotes that the Kangoo can maintain all of its load capacity in the back side.
In the front wing, the car is charged through a socket. For a six to eight-hour charge, the cable plugs into a domestic socket or en suited with a three-phase plug that will be charge the battery to 80 per cent capacity in 30 minutes.
The improvement in the airflow around the car is made with the flat-surfaced wheels and the regenerative braking is provided as the energy-saving feature. Compared to the standard Kangoo, the ZE’s ride height is 20mm lower.
