Fiat Qubo Trekking unveiled

Fiat has come up with a Fiat Qubo Trekking, a vehicle that expresses as being for nature lovers and outdoor sports and leisure enthusiasts. At the Frankfurt motor show, the Fiat Qubo Trekking will be revealed and it is motorized by a 74bhp 1.3-litre Multijet engine.

The vehicle comes with Fiat’s ‘Traction+’ traction control system that provides it off-road capability and it evaluates to that of a light crossover. With a button on the dashboard its state can be changed and it works at speeds above 17mph, electronically simulating a self-locking mechanical diff by braking a spinning wheel and shifting the power to the wheel with extra grip.

Further, highlighting the car’s off-road credentials, the ride height has been increased by 20mm and the suspension travel is 10mm better. A new front bumper design, an underbody shield, roof bars, privacy rear windows and larger wheel arches are modifications made in the style. Also the price and on-sale dates are not announced yet.
