MINI has announced the arrival of an entry-level model called the First for £10,950.
Mini First is a budget car based on the Mini One. With the arrival of the First, premium compact motoring has never been so attainable. The engine of the First is powered by the same 75hp 1.4-litre engine combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. A multi-link rear axle and independent front and rear suspension systems are used with a Dynamic Stability Control system. Standard gear includes Auto Start-Stop, Brake Energy Recovery, Variable Valve Technology, and a Gear Shift Point Display to help reduce the petrol costs.

The First not just a strong performer. First is expected to retain 50 per cent of its value after three years or 30,000 miles. This is the best residual value figure compared to any of its competitors.
The MINI First is available to order now from its dealers in the UK.
