Alfa Romeo 159 will be replaced by all-new model, Giulia. The Giulia is expected to arrive within the next two years. The Giulia will be based on a new platform called the C-Evoluzione (C-Evo), developed by Fiat Auto. This platform underpins the Bravo.

The C-Evo platformm improves handling, ride comfort and has a longer wheelbase, shorter overhangs and more sophisticated suspension. This platform can be used in multiple new cars with changes in the configurations. Entry-level Giulias will be front-wheel drive in which Active Roll Control will be an option. There is an option of Alfa’s Q4 four-wheel drive system.

The 159, although attracted people, got criticism, mostly for its excessive weight. The Giulia will be unveiled at the end of 2011. Sales will not be started in the UK until 2012.Romeo GiulisRRR
