Audi’s A1 and A8 are out of the Frankfurt Motor Show

The International Motor Show, the world’s largest motor show held biennially in Frankfurt, this year won’t have the the Audi A1 and the Audi A8.

The production form of the A1 mini car and the new A8 flagship sedan were expected to be revealed this September. But, Audi has confirmed that these models will not come to the Frankfurt Motor Show. Instead, the upcoming new A5 Sportback for the first time will be revealed in the event.

Audi’s CEO stated that the A8 flagship sedan will be released in November and will be available in the showrooms in the second half of 2010. The Audi A8 flagship sedan can be expected in the Los Angeles Auto Show. The launch date of the A1 is not confirmed yet.
