The most awaited Jaguar XJ will be unveiled tomorrow (Thursday, 9th of July 2009) during a grand event arranged in London.

Buyers always want something completely new, stylish and fresh. The next XJ as expected is promised to be a far more distinctive executive sedan than the current model. This XJ will be the new class-leader in its segment and will compete with the BMW 7 Series, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, the Audi A8 and the Lexus LS.

Jaguar is using aerospace-inspired aluminium body architecture in the XJ for the first time. Powerful engines like the 275hp (202kW), 600Nm 3.0-litre twin turbo diesel and the 5.0-litre V8 with natural aspiration will power this lovable vehicle. A supercharged XJR might use the engine that makes 510hp (380kW) but is not confirmed yet.

First deliveries of the all new Jaguar XJ are to take place in early 2010.
