Bentley Motors today celebrates its 90th anniversary and this 90th anniversary of the company will be marked by an all-new car.
Bentley Motors confirms that its all-new Bentley will be revealed – and named – in August at the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance in Monterey, California where the company is a featured marque. Bentley has released a new picture of the replacement for the Arnage. The all-new grand Bentley captures the 1920s ‘grand touring’ spirit of the Bentley Boys. The all-new grand Bentley will be exceptional in all respects on the road.

Designed, engineered and built in Crewe, which has been home to Bentley Motors for over 60 years, the all-new Bentley will deliver the effortless driving, exclusivity and adventure desired by the real motoring enthusiast.
The new flagship’s styling will feature dramatic proportions and an unusual twin-headlight arrangement. A pair of large circular LED headlamps are positioned high and close to the expansive chromed grille surround. Below the grille there is a chromed lower air intake that echoes the new styling theme of Bentley parent VW.
With a length of about 5m, the new Bentley will feature a lower roofline and softer body sections than its main rival, the Rolls-Royce Phantom. Its rear doors hinge conventionally and the bodywork is all new and understood to feature a mix of steel and alloy componentry, with expensive, unseen technology such as the wiring loom, air conditioning and switch bases sourced from the VW parts bin. The engine will be a turbocharged 6.75-litre V8.
With a unique fusion of elegant design, hand craftsmanship and technological innovation, the new model embodies the potent yet luxuriously refined driving experience that is ‘pure Bentley’. These have been the hallmarks of a Bentley since that first test drive in 1920. No doubts, the all-new Bentley will take the flagship Bentley closer to the Rolls-Royce Phantom, with a price over £200,000.
The car and its name, which will be revealed at Pebble Beach on 16 August, signal a new era in British luxury motoring.
