Coda Automotive, a Californian established producer has publicized that it will be releasing an electric saloon by the close of the year 2010.
The performance details are not released still but it is a four-door saloon that has an estimated range of 100 and it is described as Coda.
Further the Coda is provided with sat-nav, a satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity and an iPod dock. And in the US it is priced at $45000 (£28000).
The Coda’s security credentials are augmented with next-generation airbags, ABS and stability control. However the chic is fairly bland, with no grille and a chunky front and rear. Adding, it will take about six hours to recharge completely the lithium-ion batteries.
The car will be produced by Chinese state-run company Hafei, which produces 200,000 vehicles in a year. Currently there is no information on whether Coda will be entering on sale outside UK.
