In order to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its British Touring Car Championship triumph, a special edition Mini Equipe is getting released.
Adding, Custom house Arden has created the car from the Mini Cooper S to rejoice an Arden Mini Cooper S’s BTCC title forty years ago. And it is well famous for its Jaguar and Land Rover conversions.
Further special edition car comes with custom two-tone leather upholstery, handmade stainless steel and chrome details, special 18-inch alloys and a bespoke grille.
To go smooth with a new intercooler and full stainless steel exhaust system with racing catalytic converters, the ECU has been improved as well. And the 40bhp and 37lb ft of torque is included in the upgrade of ECU.
Moreover it is en suited with Arden sport suspension and 30mm lowering and six-piston brakes are added as well.
The price details are not released yet and only 40 Mini Arden’s will be produced.

Before revealing officially, the pictures of Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2 have got released in the internet. Adding, the sources from the company have verified that it is a real one.

Peugeot’s 207 facelift got revealed and in the month of August it will enter for sales in UK.

Renault’s new twin-clutch gearbox technology will be initially implemented in the Megane range. Adding, from the year 2010 the release will be started.

Christian Steyer, Renault’s development chief for C-segment vehicles said that if the transmission is concentrated well then the driver will have enjoyment, regardless of paddle shifts. And the company does not observe any point of such a system for our cars.
Presently, Renault has no plans to release the system on its Renaultsport models, says sources. But Steyer agreed that a paddle-shift system would make more sense on cars with more than 200bhp.s

With the intention to make UK as one of the world’s leading hydrogen economies, Nissan has played host to the initial UK Hydrogen Network meeting.
In and over the country, the UK Hydrogen Network (UK-HyNet) requires having a network of hydrogen infrastructure by the year 2015.
As of now, the small groups and individual producers have been working on their own hydrogen developments. And with an objective of making the UK a hydrogen economy to compete on the world stage the moves are taken to bring the developments under one umbrella organization.
Currently, Nissan is trialing with the hydrogen fuel-cell cars in US and Japan and by the year 2015 it has plans to have in volume production.
As the credible hydrogen infrastructure is not available the fleet trials are dubious in the future. Adding, in Japan, Nissan is testing ten fuel cell vehicles and eight in the US.
Further, Nissan observes its interest in UK-HyNet as a mid to long-term project.
Moreover, car industry participation in UK-HyNet is not mutually exclusive to Nissan. And it is the only producer who is involved directly and others are requested to link in at any time. Also, across all the parties who are active in it, the findings of UK-HyNet will be shared.

In the beginning of the year 2010, the first deliveries of the zero-emission vehicle will be started, says Smart’s parent company Daimler AG.
With the universities, councils and energy companies involving, the trials of the Smart Fortwo Electric Drive started in the December month of the year 2007.
The economy of the Fortwo Electric Drive is equivalent to 300mpg and its 30kw motor can power it to 30mph in 6.5secs, says Smart.
