Jaguar police car launched

Jaguar has released the first police car Jaguar XF and it is assessed by forces in the country.

The new police car is based on the XF diesel S model. Adding, it maintains the typical 271bhp 3.0-litre engine. However it comes with a roof-mounted light bar, flashing LED lights in the rear, front and in both sides.

To influence a complete suite of emergency lights, radio and other electronic equipment the car is en suited with a Home Office-specification ‘police pack’.

The police forces are expecting for vehicles that embodies importance for money, have good environmental credentials and provide the power and performance essential of a chase vehicle, said Geoff Cousins, UK managing director for Jaguar Cars.

With extremely high level of performance and usage, protection and comfort the police officers are anticipating while driving pursuit vehicles.

Moreover the price of XF 3.0-litre diesel range begins from £33,900 and the 3.0-litre Diesel S begins at the price of £36,900.
