In the 2010 beginning the Proton Saga will be coming into the Australian market. Adding, with a 1.6 liter Campro engine and an engine size up from the 1.3 liter consumer version the Proton will sell the Saga.
In Australia the Proton Saga is going to be the cheapest car. Also it does not connote that it will be the Australia’s economical car as majority of the low-priced cars are 5-door hatches, says Proton Cars Australia.
Presently there are 25,000 Protons on the road down and optimistically the novel Saga will augment the figure to still higher as per Proton Cars Australia.
The 1.6 liter version of the Proton Saga is not formally entering into the sale in Malaysia but there are advertisements getting released for the Proton Saga. And a 1.6 Campro IAFM engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox got in with the specification. Also from the ads it seems that the car is produced in solid red color. And it comes with steel wheels but with no front power windows and airbags.
Further the price of the car is in the sort of RM39k to RM43k.
