Tata Nano orders getting overflow

For the most awaited Nano the number of orders has exceeded over 203,000. Adding, the orders received are more than twice the quantity of cars that will be ready in the primary production work.

Before the closing date of April 25th the impending Tata Nano purchasers were mandatory to pre-order cars and with beneficiaries of the car then being determined by a lot system.

Further as per the authorized numbers from Tata, in the finance about 70 per cent of the orders were positioned, and 30% were wholly compensated. Also of the entire bookings paid about 4000 were created through the portal available for the company.

Moreover for the Tata Nano there are three trim levels. From the entries of the bookings, 20 per cent were for the Nano Standard, 20 per cent for the Nano CX and 50 per cent for the top-end Nano LX.

Going further the impending purchasers will be informed within 60 days whether they have been flourishing in the lot system.

Adding in the month of July 2009 deliveries will begin, and anticipated to be end in the final quarter of the year 2010. Also Tata has promised that it will involve in taking all efforts “to ramp up production and deliver as early as possible.”

Furthermore the worth of the bookings received for the Tata Nano is $101 million (£67 million). However purchasers who do not thrive in the lot system but yet require a car will be provided interest for their money, whereas if the purchasers need to withdraw from the scheme then the money will be provided to them.
