Tesla’s Roadster Sport

America’s electric sports car producer Tesla has announced that is going to work on its new performance flagship called the Roadster Sport. The battery-powered Tesla is based on a modified Lotus Elise framework. The new Roadster Sport race from 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds, that’s 0.2 seconds faster than the standard Roadster. Roadster sport invokes a hand-wound stator and increased winding density for lower resistance and higher peak torque.
The roadster is powered by a 3-phase, 4-pole electric motor, producing a maximum net power of 185KW. The electric motor of roadster is designed for rotational speeds of up to 14,000rpm and the efficiency hits 90%. According to the Tesla, the power hand-made engine and battery pack improves power output. It also includes a new stickier tyres and enhanced suspension with adjustable dampers and anti-roll bars. Besides the overall performance and design, the company claims over 1,100 on the waiting list for a Tesla. Tesla’s Roadster sports not only maintain fuel consumption but also play a vital role in saving the earth from pollution.
