not nessacerily some tire size would improve because you have a higher profile tire but some wouldn’t becasue they have a lower profile tire.

If you add a larger diameter tire then yes. Say you install a tire that’s 2 inches taller than stock, you will get approximately 1 inch of clearance. Just watch for rubbing.
