Fuel consumption of my TATA Indigo (GLX version) high, although engine is running smoothly?

My five year old petrol driven Tata Indigo is giving me 7-8 KM in dense city traffic (AC on) and 10-11 KM on highways. It has gone one hundred thousand KM. After proper servicing, engine is running smoothly, low noise, pollution level is also low. May I do anything to increase the millage, beside using fuel additives?

A car after reachin 100,000 km is bound to hav problems anyway, most probably d problem might be d fuel flow system itself(duh!!
) check whether d mixture is too rich, if dats not it, check for d key sections like cylinder, piston rings etc, exhaust lines having crack will result in loss of mileage too! If any of dis ain’t helpin, its high time u change d car!
